Samsung Galaxy Beam, New Samsung Cell Phone Projector


BARCELONA - Samsung has just introduced a new mobile phone, Samsung Galaxy Beam at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012, which took place in Barcelona, Spain. Samsung Galaxy Beam is a phone that also includes a projector, which can display movies and pictures.

Beam is the first mainstream phone to directly incorporate projector technology, which has increasingly become the visibility of digital compact cameras in general. Samsung claims this latest mobile phones have a 15 lumen projector when outdoors.

"Galaxy Beam gives freedom of movement, thus allowing a unique shared experience around digital content for all people everywhere and directly from the smartphone," said President of IT & Samsung Mobile Communication Division, JK Shin, as quoted from BGR on Monday (27 / 2/2012).

This phone has a thickness of 12.5 mm, Beam was a little bigger than other mobile phone models with the thinness of less than 8mm. 12.5 mm but still within the range of usual size of a phone purchased by consumers.

The phone has a 5MP camera and running the 2.3 Android operating system is powered by a 1.0GHz dual-core processors. Projector on the phone is run by a special application, and in addition it also has 8GB of internal storage and 2000 mAh battery.

According to the Telegraph, in addition to announcing this new mobile phone at MWC, Samsung also said the addition of the reach of the Galaxy Tab will be available in the UK in March.
