Is Kieron-Scott Woodhouse, a Middlesex University student who was recently highlighted by the concept of a smartphone with a casing carved from a bamboo. Referred to as ADzero, the mobile phone casing combines organically grown bamboo and are given special treatment to enhance durability.

Even so, Woodhouse acknowledged that bamboo is a strange material to be used on mobile phones.

"But it (bamboo) is actually very strong and very durable, quality is perfect for this type of application," said Woodhouse, as reported by Digital Trends, Friday (03/01/2012).

Until now not much is known specifications owned by ADzero, although Woodhouse claimed weighed only half of Apple's iPhone, also has a larger screen and backed Android operating system.
