Arnova 8b G2, The Cheap Android Tablet

PARIS - Archos recently announced it will release a tablet PC made, Arnova 8b G2. The tablet has a screen size of 8 inches and supports Gingerbread Android 2.3 operating system.

As reported technologytell, Sunday (2/19/2012), Archos seems quietly launched a new tablet, by preaching about the specifications and operating system (OS) that supports the device.

Specifications owned Arnova 8b G2 reveals that, the tablet will have 8-inch screen size (800x600 pixels) with feature multi-touch capacitive display, with a body size of 8.8 x 6.1 x 0.5 inches and weighs 1.1 pounds.

The tablet will be embedded kitchen implanted single-core processor 1GHz ARM Cortex A8, 512M of RAM memory, data storage capacity of 4GB or 8GB (internal storage).

In terms of connectivity, Arnova 8b G2 has a USB host cable and the Archos 3G USB stick, supports microSD card slot, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g. The tablet also features a front camera, microphone, g-sensor, speakers and battery life up to 25 hours.

Sources said the tablets will also be able to update to Android OS Ice Cream Sandwich. Not yet known when the release date and price certainty, speculation says Arnova 8b G2 will release the next few months and is priced at USD149.
