Samsung, LG and Sony Agree to Make Google TV


U.S. - Three major vendors television manufacturers agreed to make Google TV. The product is planned to be started on display at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 in Las Vegas, United States.

Started by Sony, which has been marketing the Google TV at various electronics stores some time ago. This product is also sold with accessories in the form of keyboards and game controllers.

"It is television's most exciting we've ever sold," said Brian Siegel, vice president of Sony TV, as quoted from USAToday, Saturday (January 7, 2012).

Soon followed by LG. South Korean electronics giant has also started to introduce Google TV a few weeks ago, and the new plan will be showcased at the CES 10 to 13 January 2012.

"There are about 80 thousand movies and television series available on Google TV, and we make it easy to be enjoyed by consumers," said Mario Queiroz, vice president of Google TV.

Google TV feature was also eventually lure Samsung, which claimed to have been putting up these products. It's just not been disclosed more details about the specifications of the product in question.

Google TV, a new service that allows television connected to interternet through Google Chrome. In it there are about 150 applications to enjoy a variety of digital content, including watching an international television broadcast whether paid or free.
