NEW YORK - Motorola announced it will release the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for some selected Xoom owners. Update has been deployed on a small number of users.
"Update Ice Cream Sandwich has been deployed on a small number of users in an experiment," said a spokesman for Motorola, as reported by InternationalBusinessTimes, Saturday (14/01/2012).
"We will provide additional details about the confirmation, when the upgrade is already widely available," he added.
Reportedly both versions of WiFi and 4G LTE, will receive the update. Motorola's decision to release Ice Cream Sandwich, the following steps ASUS to update the tablet Prime Transformer into the latest version of Android.
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, first introduced in an event of cooperation between Samsung and Google in Hong Kong in October. A month later, Google released the source code operating system.
